The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College is happy to announce the return of its free summer concert series, “Concert Hall @ The Park” in downtown Durango’s Buckley Park on Thursdays at 5:30 pm beginning June 22 through August 3.
“We have been busy booking artists to return to Buckley for this annual event and have a great line up for Durango,” said Charles Leslie, Concert Hall director. “Alpine Bank and I enjoy the process as we search for ‘just the right’ musical guests to bring to our community. Be sure to tune in to KDUR Fort Lewis College Community Radio and listen for updates and announcements. I would recommend that folks get your dancing shoes on and be ready to have a party in Buckley Park Thursday evenings!”
Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs are encouraged with Fired Up Pizzeria offering a selection of food and beverages throughout the evening.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ryanhood, International Acoustic Music Awards winners for ‘Best Group/Duo’ known for their tight vocal harmonies and big acoustic riffs, have made them favorites on the touring circuit for over 15 years. A merging of virtuosic musicianship with rich and transformative storytelling, their shows are driven by strong acoustic guitar interplay and turn-on-a-dime harmonies forged in a decades-long friendship. At turns energetic, hopeful, and quietly moving, Ryanhood offers an invitation to soak in a river of melodies and harmonic hooks; to reflect, laugh, sing, and to stand up and cheer.
